"All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel Mother"

"What a great site! I love it! I think changing the public perception of breastfeeding to show mums they can stay stylish and still breastfeed is much needed to fill a support void in Ireland. Culturally it is our public perception which holds so many people back.
“No chef, food company or scientist can make food as perfect for your baby, as you can. Yes, breastfeeding takes time, but the results are worth it. Your baby’s health is undoubtedly improved and it’s great for getting you back in shape.
Gisele Bundchen is having an "insert foot" moment after making a bold statement regarding women breastfeeding. The supermodel, who had her first baby, Benjamin, in December, recently told Harper's Bazaar UK that she thinks there should be a "worldwide law" requiring mothers to "breastfeed their babies for six months."
She went on to say in the September issue, "Some people (in the US) think they don't have to breastfeed, and I think, 'Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?'"
As you can imagine, the minute people found out what she had said, a large majority were furious at the Brazilian model. So on Monday, the 30-year-old who is married to Tom Brady, took to her blog to clear the air.

In a Mother's Day post, model mom Gisele Bündchen wrote a new message on her official website thanking her mother Vania for encouraging her to find her own way. The 29-year-old mother of Benjamin, 5 months, and stepson Jack, 2 1/2, also urges new moms to breastfeed, calling it "Nature's blessing."
I’ve always believed that to be a mom is the greatest responsibility a woman could have in her life. I’ve noticed a lot of meaningful changes in my life taking place together with a huge transformation of my priorities. The most important thing to me is to be the best mom ever to my children. I want to love them, to communicate with them, to be patient and teach them all I know. I have no doubt that becoming a mom has been the most rewarding experience in my life. I can say for a fact that I knew unconditional love.
I’ve been blessed with a loving mother who understood we were all unique human beings and we all had our paths to follow. Once she told me “we love you and we’ve raised you the best we could, but you don’t belong to us, you belong to the world, you’ll have to find your own way”.
My mother has been a model to me and I’ll always be grateful to her for that. Thank you, Mom!
On this Mother’s Day I’d also like to talk about a very important issue, which is breastfeeding. It’s essential for the newborn and creates a bond between mother and her child. It’s a unique moment when the body changes to nurture; it’s the Nature’s blessing! Breastfeeding, mainly the first days, poses some challenges, but the reward is sublime. In addition to having all the proteins, fats, and vitamins the baby needs, breastfeeding is an act of love and affection.
It would be great if all the mothers could experience the breastfeeding.
Therefore, on this date, May 9th, I want to wish all the mothers in the world a very special day and may we all be the best we can to our children, who, in turn, will show us their infinite love and brighten every day of our life with laughs (and many sleepless nights as well).
Jennifer Garner has revealed that she looks forward to her breasts going back to their normal size.
The Valentine's Day actress, who had second child Seraphina with Ben Affleck last year, said that she has just finished breastfeeding her daughter.
Garner's co-star Julia Roberts is quoted by Us Magazine as telling her at the press conference for the romantic comedy: "You are quite slim."
Garner replied: "I just finished nursing. I'll soon plump up again", to which Roberts joked: "We'll stay tuned for that."

Ana Ortiz from Ugly Betty Introduces Paloma Louise!
Erin Patrice O’Brien for PEOPLE for use on CBB
Meet Paloma Louise Lebenzon!
Ugly Betty star Ana Ortiz and husband Noah Lebenzon welcomed their first child on June 25th in New York City; here Ana shares her thoughts on breastfeeding:
"When it switched from colostrum to milk there was a whole day where she didn’t poop or pee — I went into a tailspin of panic! I was like, “Her kidneys are shutting down! I’m killing my child! I can’t feed her!” It was literally like total dismay. And my mother was like, “It’s fine. It’s fine. Call the pediatrician.” The next day everything was fine!
Paloma is up every two hours to eat. Oh my God! At first I was like, “She’s so awesome! She’s sleeping for four and a half hours. My kid is rad! This is easy!” But now she is up pretty much every two hours to eat and I feel like I’m not making enough milk. I really feel like a machine! I just have to stay completely hydrated. But it’s so well worth it.

Soon-to-be-moms and reality stars Kendra Wilkinson and Kourtney Kardashian recently revealed their plans to breast-feed their babies. Both women have undergone breast augmentations in the past, which can be complicated.
At 24, Kendra is a Playboy Playmate and star of her own reality series Kendra. Since announcing her pregnancy with husband football player, Hank Baskett , Kendra has spoken openly about how being pregnant has affected her body and mood. In a recent joint interview with fellow celeb mom to be Kourtney Kardashian, she said, “I was so scared that I wasn’t going to be able to nurse that when I saw stuff come out of my nipples the other day, I was like, I can breast-feed?”
”
In the same interview, Kourtney also expressed her wish to breast-feed despite having breast implants. She says, “They say usually you can [breast-feed with implants]. I want to.”.
New York plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer says, “Women with breast implants can still breast feed. The implants are placed under the breast and most of the time under the muscle as well.So the glands and ducts are still intact.”
Many are under the impression that having breast implants means that women cannot breast feed, but this isn’t true. The ability to breastfeed depends on the woman, as well as the placement of the implant.
Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden explains, “It is very common for women with implants to wish to breastfeed, and many women do go on to breastfeed sucessfully. However, as a first time mom nobody can guarantee Kendra or Kourtney will be able breastfeed. This holds true even for women that do not have implants. Appropriately sized breast implants frequently do not interfere with breastfeeding if placed under the muscle and placed through an inframammary crease incision. Periareolar incisions carry a slightly higher higher risk of loss of nipple sensitivity and potential difficulty with lactation as the surgeon must navigate through the mammary gland to reach the pectoralis muscle.”

Controversial celebrity sculptor Daniel Edwards has unveiled his latest work: a park-bench-sized statue of Angelina Jolie in the nude, double breastfeeding her twins. This artistic work of public indecency (she’s not wearing pants!) is called “Landmark for Breastfeeding” and was inspired by Jolie’s cover photograph on W magazine last year. Edwards decided that, in order to encourage more women to breastfeed and to raise global awareness of public nursing, he would depict one twin as African-American and the other as not, since that could totally happen in the real world. Beginning September 11, at Mainsite Contemporary Art Museum in Norman, Oklahoma, the piece will be on display, before it’s whisked off to an exhibition in London. [Capla Kesting Fine Art]

Marisol Nichols: ‘We Are Officially a Family’
Amy Graves/WireImage
Actress Marisol Nichols never doubted that she and her husband Taron Lexton were a family, but when the couple welcomed their first child last year, the label suddenly hit home.
“We are officially a family,” she told Celebrity Baby Blog at Bel-Bambini’s VIP reception on July 17th.
An avid fan of the children’s line — half of 10 ½-month-old Rain India’s nursery is from the store — Marisol laughs that she loves nothing more than to stock up on clothes for her daughter!
Quickly bouncing back after baby, Marisol attributes her weight loss “hands down” to breastfeeding. “I could not do this without breastfeeding,” she notes.
In addition to nursing, the 35-year-old has regained her figure by following an altered version of the 1st Personal Diet. While the “fantastic” plan revolves around balancing the right foods to regulate the body’s hormones, Marisol has added her own adjustments.
“I changed it a bit and have more portions, because I’m breastfeeding. It’s not necessarily for [nursing] moms, so I altered it so I could make it work. That in conjunction with breastfeeding has been a lifesaver.”

Rebecca Loos is shocked at how big her breasts have become now that she's pregnant.
The reality star is expecting her first child with boyfriend Sven Christjar Skaiaa in mid-July.
‘They’ve doubled in size,’ says Rebecca. 'I feel like a porn star at the moment!
'I was in Marks & Spencer getting some maternity bras and somebody mentioned a G-cup. I almost fainted. I’m usually a D!’
Rebecca, 31, hopes that her breasts will return to their normal size once her son is born.
‘I’m going to breastfeed and I’ve heard that sucks out all the fat,’ she says. ‘Plus my breasts are huge so I might as well use them for something!’
Monsters and Critics.com - USA It meant I had to stop every few hours to breastfeed him. But I didn't do it on the set! I was very discreet. I would leave the set every few hours to take ..
In her first interview since giving birth to twin girls Charlie and Dolly four months ago, Rebecca Romijn reveals to Extra that her secret to losing weight is breastfeeding. She’s pretty candid that with nursing twins, she hasn’t “been able to work out that much . . . It’s impossible to get back into a regular schedule.” She goes on to admit that she is not back in shape, but what’s great is that she doesn’t seem to care.
It’s also so awesome that Ms. Romijn is breastfeeding twins, especially at 4 months. The best thing a mom who is expecting a duo can do is meet with a lactation consultant and get prepared. For some tips on how to succeed with twins, see our contribution to the Celebrity Baby Blog story on Angelina Jolie, and for a good laugh, read Double Trouble by Suzanne Schlosberg. Guaranteed you will have a new appreciation for Ms. Romijn and all moms who have tried–and/or succeeded–with nursing twins!
We’re thrilled that Ms. Romijn is so open about the fact that she is breastfeeding, because celebrities can really help lessen the cultural squeamishness around nursing. I was one of those people who was uncomfortable seeing a mother nursing, most likely because it was so rare. When celebrities share that they are nursing it helps desensitize us. It can even be a clever way to sway your mother or mother-in-law who would feel more comfortable if you didn’t breastfeed. If the subject comes up (again), try casually mentioning that Gwyneth Paltrow, Kelly Ripa and ____________ (insert the name of her favorite celebrity that you happen to know breastfed here) and perhaps she’ll change her perspective a little bit! For the latest updates on breastfeeding celebrities, check out the breastfeeding page at Celebrity-Babies.com.
Unlike many women who struggle to shed the pounds after delivering, “naturally skinny” actress Angie Harmon had no problems losing the baby weight following the birth of daughter Emery Hope three months ago.
The mom of three credits “breastfeeding and stress” with making it happen because she “can’t even imagine” going to the gym any time soon! If she does decide to exercise eventually, Angie says it will be in the comfort of her own home –”I’ll probably try to do some sit ups on the floor!”
While the weight may have disappeared, certain extras that come with motherhood did not — much to the delight of Angie and her husband Jason Sehorn. “All of these curves and boobs and things are really fun,” the actress laughs.
Angie, 36, and Jason, 37, are also parents to Finley Faith, 5, and Avery Grace, 3 ½.
In the April/May issue of WebMD magazine, Salma Hayek opens up about her pregnancy with daughter Valentina Paloma, 18-months. Baby girl wasn’t entirely a surprise — Salma and then-fiancé (and now husband!) François-Henri Pinault were trying to become parents — but Salma was surprised they were able to conceive naturally. “I thought I was going to need help getting pregnant, and I didn’t,” she admits. That said, the 42-year-old actress harbors no regrets about tackling motherhood for the first time in her 40s.
“I’m a more fulfilled human being now, and I probably wouldn’t have been 10 years ago. She gets a better mother for being born now.”
Salma isn’t ruling out the possibility of having another child, even though her pregnancy with Valentina was far from uncomplicated. “I was nauseous for the whole nine months, and the only thing I craved was fruit — cold mango, watermelon,” she reveals. Actor Paul Bettany — husband of actress Jennifer Connelly — suggested that Salma could suffer from gestational diabetes, after overhearing her fret about “getting so big.” His instincts were right! “I thought, ‘What does he know?’” she admits, but after discussing the concerns with a midwife and doula she was eventually diagnosed with the disorder.
Still, Salma says that she doesn’t need another child to feel complete. “I feel that I’ve done enough things in life where I can appreciate the time I spend with her as my No. 1 priority and not feel I’m missing out on something…I feel I’m a lot more patient,” she explains. “I wouldn’t trade this for anything in the world.”
Sitting down for countless interviews as she makes her way through the promotional tour for her movie Duplicity, Julia Roberts has heard the whispers that refer to her new role as her sexiest yet. The 41-year-old actress, however, brushes off the compliments and jokes that the praise is all based on her temporary assets — a result of breastfeeding her son, Henry Daniel, now 21 months. “That’s just because my boobs are so big in it,” she laughs.
That said, Julia is full of pride when it comes to the work — both onscreen and off — she put into the film. With her three kids on hand, she explains that her success in balancing her loves of life has given her much to be proud of. “To make a movie as a mother of three children under 3? That’s an accomplishment I’m proud of,” she reveals to Entertainment Weekly. Fortunately for the busy mama, twins Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus ‘Finn’ Walter, 4, along with their little brother Henry, had no problems adapting to their environment!
“They were in the trailer, hanging out, reading books, jumping on the one bed they’re allowed to jump on, Henry’s taking naps.”
Opening up about her good-looking brood, a proud Julia gushes that her son Finn is a true “dreamboat.” Taking after his father Danny Moder — “green eyes and red hair” — Julia shares that her little boy has the “exact color hair” her husband sported as a child. As for Hazel and Henry, they are two of a kind! “[They] both have platinum hair and blue eyes,” she says.
Kelly Rutherford
Patricia Schlein/WENN
Actress Kelly Rutherford is a woman who certainly practices what she preaches! Not only does the soon-to-be mom of two — she expects her daughter in June — take pride in using Seventh Generation cleaning supplies, she tells OK! that she is an “eco-breastfeeding mom” to her 2-year-old son Hermés Gustaf Daniel.
Of her decision to continue nursing her toddler, Kelly has no regrets, but understands that each mother and child pair approach the situation differently. “It’s not good for everyone, but it’s been great for me,” she says. While the initial benefits hold nutritional value, Kelly explains that extended breastfeeding eventually becomes “a bond or a nurturing thing.” Not to worry, laughs the 40-year-old, there is an end date in sight!
“Obviously, before he goes to college, I’ll probably have to quit breastfeeding. You know when it’s right and you feel that.”
Joking aside, the Gossip Girl actress believes her baby boy will wean himself; Until then, Kelly basks in the continued bonding, extremely grateful for the special time with Hermés. “[Some mothers] have to go to work and they can’t always be there,” she notes. “I’ve been fortunate enough to be a mom who has been able to be around and be home.”
Adopting a similar philosophy to deal with the infamous terrible twos, Kelly seeks advice from The Natural Child, a book that discusses fostering a child’s independence. In a plan to “circumvent the terrible twos and the teenage years,” Kelly reveals that the key to it all seems to be a strong parental presence. “If you take the time now to be there and present with them and listen, hopefully you won’t have such a tough time because they’re both natural phases of independence,” she explains.
“I’m doing my best to put a lot of time in now and listen and be present and support [Hermés] having his own mind, opinions, feelings and emotions, and doing the best I can to be present for those things — instead of ignoring them and hoping it all turns out.”
Hermés and baby-on-the-way are Kelly’s children with her estranged husband, Daniel Giersch.
Crediting a combination of weight-training and breastfeeding for her body after baby, Michelle Monaghan admits that she has also been blessed by genetics. “This is honestly the first time I’ve ever watched my diet in my life, since I got pregnant and now that I’m breastfeeding,” she says. “It never really occurred to me to do that.” Since welcoming daughter Willow Katherine, 5 months, however, Michelle’s focus has shifted. “It feels like Christmas every single morning ,” she reveals, before adding:
“Now it’s not about me, obviously. I’m probably eating a much more balanced diet. A lot more veggies and fish.”
In the movie Trucker the 33-year-old actress portrays a mother reunited with the son she abandoned as a baby. Certain that there are no circumstances under which she’d make a similar choice — telling Vail Daily “that was something I personally would never be able to do” — Michelle is nonetheless glad she shot the film before becoming a mom, herself.
“I wonder now if I would be able to portray that character in the way that I did and be not judgmental and be really objective about it. Now I question that actually.”
Willow is Michelle’s daughter with husband Peter White.
The experience was eye-opening for the 43-year-old Access Hollywood host not only because it alerted her to a potential fertility problem, but also because she learned that miscarriage happens far more frequently — ending approximately 1 in 4 pregnancies — than she thought. “It’s like this little secret society,” Nancy says. “Nobody really talks about it because it’s just not something that’s pleasant to talk about.” She recalls,
“My doctor told me to look at the positive side. He said it meant I could get pregnant easily. I think the way my doctor phrased it was, ‘It means your plumbing is working.’ It didn’t help with the loss, because the loss was definitely still there, but it definitely made me feel like I wish I had known it was that common because I wouldn’t have gone through that anguish of thinking that I had something wrong with me or that I couldn’t get pregnant again.”
Nancy’s motivation to share her story — along with countless tips and anecdotes — rests with her desire to spare other expectant moms from the many moments she found herself thinking “Why didn’t y’all tell me that?” while pregnant with Ashby. “There were just so many things that came as a complete surprise to me that I wish someone had given me a heads up about,” she says. “Even though it is all so worth it, the things that happen with pregnancy can be shocking, scary and embarrassing.”
Her advice? Pre-register if you plan to pursue a hospital birth, avoid foot massages which can trigger labor, and be proactive about getting help with breastfeeding — the difficulty of which Nancy says left her “completely floored.”
“Nursing is complicated. I literally thought I would take my baby and I would hold her in a cradle position and I would put her on my breast and it would be all nature and instinct and it’s not. The baby doesn’t immediately take… So the vitally important tip is to get a lactation consultant before you give birth.”
Ashby is the first child for Nancy and her husband Keith Zubchevich, who is also dad to sons Tyler, 13,and Carson, 9. Full of Life is available in bookstores now.
Sophie Ellis-Baxtor is recovering this week after giving birth to her son nine weeks early. Her son was delivered through emergency section due to severe pre-eclampsia. The 29 year-old singer’s son weighed just 2 lbs 10oz upon delivery and had to be placed in the neo-natal intensive care unit in Portland Hospital London. Speaking outside their London home, Sophie’s husband and The Feeling’s bass player Richard Jones said, “It’s been dramatic but we are very happy. We’re calmer this time because we have been here before.” This was the second scare for Sophie as she was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia while pregnant with her first son, Sonny, who was also born early at 28 weeks.
COROANATION STREET BABIES
Three Coronation Street stars welcomed their babies last week. Alison King, 35 known on the show as Carla Gordon welcomed a 6lbs 7 oz girl last Wednesday with her partner Adam Hackett. The couple have named their baby Daisy.
Jack P Shepherd, known as David Platt is a new dad after his girlfriend Lauren Shippey, 23, gave birth to a baby girl last Friday. The couple have named their baby Nyla-Rae.

All cast members and babies are doing well.
ON A SAD NOTE….

Our thoughts and prayers are with them all.

SHARING THE LIQUID LOVE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_TXp-Tpkpc
While touring war-torn Sierra Leone, 42 year old actress Salma Hayek came across a woman who was unable to feed her starving one-week old son. Without hesitation and surrounded by camera crews, Salma began to nurse the baby boy. Salma has begun weaning her one year old daughter but claims she still has plenty of milk.
'He was very hungry - I was weaning my daughter Valentina, but I still had a lot of milk, so I breastfed the baby.
Salma was in Sierra Leon to raise awareness for UNICEF’s Tetanus campaign. She hopes her actions will in the future make her own daughter a generous and caring person.
'Am I being disloyal to my child by giving my milk away? I actually think my baby would be very proud to be able to share her milk.
'When she grows up, I will make sure she continues to share and be a caring and generous person.'
BABY JOY FOR CHRIS EVANS
Chris Evans and his wife, Natasha Shishmanian have welcomed the birth of their baby boy Noah ten days late. Golf instructor Natasha, 27, gave birth to 7lbs 4oz Noah in London's exclusive Portland Hospital. Writing on his blog today, proud father Chris, 42, said he had become fascinated watching his wife breastfed their new arrival.
He wrote: 'Noah had his final weigh "out" this morning, he's been foot printed, had the general full once over and even found his voice. Yes, he has finally cried.
'Mum has moved on from producing semi-skimmed to the full fat version of Noah food and as a result experienced the "milk shakes" for most of the night.
'A bizarre phenomenon that ladies have to go through when their body becomes a full-on food factory for the first time.'
Natasha even managed to get down to the local for a quick celebration drink while midwives looked after Noah. (You don’t get that treatment at the local General Hospital!)
Chris has been updating his blog regularly since the arrival of his son and admitted that he partied with all of the BBC Radio 2 crew and enjoyed “a big fat Montechristo Cigar”.
Super Milk
Want your little one to be the next gold medallist? According to some mums, breastfeeding is the best way to start. Many mums of superstars have said that their children’s skills are down to good old breast milk.
Michael Jordan, arguably the best basketball player of all time, was breastfed until the age of 3. His mother says “I feel this is why he is the athlete he is”.
Brazilian soccer legend Pele was breastfed until the age of 5 and Arsenal front runner Theo Walcott was also breastfed until the age of 3. His mother, a midwife, says “I always like to claim that Theo’s speed, co-ordination and eyesight is down to being breastfed. I like to think I set him up for life”.
Lots of female athletes go on to breastfeed also because they are aware of the natural health benefits and how it helps them get back into shape.
Professional boxer Laila Ali, daughter of the legendary Mohammad Ali, breastfeeds her 1 year old son Curtis Jr.
“There are so many health benefits for babies who are nursed and I can’t imagine not taking advantage of the custom made supply that God gave me for my child. This boy is going to be an athlete, definitely!”
Working Mom
Naomi Watts had her first night on the town last weekend after the birth of her second son, Samuel. She is already Mum to 18 month old Alexander. Naomi looked fantastic, already back to her pre-pregnancy weight just a month after giving birth. What does she credit for her speedy return to slimness? Breastfeeding of course. She has been quoted saying “He’s sucking it all out of me”.
Her first son, Alexander, was also breastfed but it is unclear for how long. It has been reported that during the filming of “The International” in Berlin in 2008, Naomi had a runner who would courier milk to her son who was in a hotel.
She explains “It was a struggle, I was still nursing my baby at that point and we were shooting at night in the freezing cold and I wasn’t going to leave him in a trailer on set, so I would be expressing and sending back to the hotel. It was definitely a challenge”.
McPreggers
What’s the craziest thing you have ever done while pregnant? Go to a wild party? Ever considered rapping at the Grammy’s?
Well that’s exactly what British rapper M.I.A is planning to do on her due date! The 31 year old mum to be said “you’re often late the first time, so I’m planning to go”.
Should make for some interesting viewing. The 51st Annual Grammy Awards are to be held this Sunday.

Celebs already breast feeding
Charlotte Church - The former wild-child singer surprised everyone, giving up her partying lifestyle to become an Earth Mother since giving birth to daughter Ruby seven months ago. Still nursing her daughter, the 21 year old says, "I can't imagine not breastfeeding. I'm not going to preach about it, but it's better for the baby and the mother, and it's such a bonding thing as well. I think if you can and you don't, it's ridiculous." STOP PRESS....Charlotte Church will call on other young mums to consider breastfeeding after new statistics revealed that only 42% of Welsh mothers under 20 start to breastfeed compared to 76% of mothers over 30. Read news story here.
Nicole Richie - Before falling pregnant with her daughter Harlow, Richie received a lot of negative attention for her severe weight loss. Since having her baby, however, she is revelling in her newfound, more buxom figure thanks in part to exclusively breastfeeding. She still watches what she eats but for much more sensible reasons. "There's just so much I can't eat because she's sensitive," says the new mum. "I eat really bland food - chicken noodle soup, vegetables, fish. I had to cut out milk, no tomatoes, no lettuce. You think you have to cut everything out when you're pregnant, but you really have to cut everything out when you're breastfeeding."
Naomi Watts - The Australian actress is mum to eight month old Alexander, and says breastfeeding means she can continue to eat what she wants. "In fact, I have been eating just as much as I was when I was pregnant because in order to produce breast milk, you have to keep the carbohydrates going. It's so funny, it feels quite strange to be at a press junket and hard to get excited about anything else. I'm thinking about when's the next feeding, when can I catch up on sleep, when do I pump, when do I file his nails so he doesn't scratch himself?"
Halle Berry - The latest celebrity to join the Yummy Mummy club made her first public appearance just six weeks after having daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry in March. The Oscar-winning actress, 41, showed off her post-baby figure in a leopard-print dress with a plunging neckline that drew attention to her 'breast' assets.
Christina Aguilera - The 27-year old singer recently joked about the size of her 'nursing boobs' with Ellen DeGeneres on her chat show. She admits that exclusively breastfeeding her three month old son has helped her regain her pre-pregnancy figure. "I think they say that when you're breastfeeding, you know, your weight kind of slims down. It's a little easier," she said, adding, "It's like a workout within itself. It's very tiring actually and you find yourself snacking more often."
Helena Bonham Carter - The mother of two admits to loving breastfeeding, having breastfed her first child until he was four years old. Speaking four months after the birth of her daughter, she said, "You know you're providing a real service. After carrying around your boobs for so long, it's nice to know they have an actual purpose." The actress also thinks her larger bust will benefit her when she reprises her role of Bellatrix in the next Harry Potter film. "The good thing is, Bellatrix has huge breasts, and I won't need the chicken cutlets this time," she explained. "Like lactating on a broomstick."
Salma Hayek - The actress recently caused uproar when she claimed one aspect of breastfeeding was a myth. After rumours circulated saying the new mum of one had hired an 'industrial strength breast pump' in a bid to lose her pregnancy weight, she told Oprah, "Everybody tells you if you breastfeed, [the weight] is going to come off. It's a lie - it's not true. I'm going to say something. Except for a couple of exceptions, the only reason people lose weight like that when they're breastfeeding is 'cos they're not eating and they're breastfeeding. And this is not good for the baby."
Eva Herzigova - The German supermodel made the rest of us mere mortals green with envy when, just seven weeks after having her son George, the model posed for several photos, including breastfeeding her baby. She says she's nursing George to build a strong relationship. "So I now have 10 pounds more than before and most of them seem to be in my breasts!" she joked. "I'd love to keep the extra weight in this place! Right now, I try to eat a lot of fatty foods, because I believe this is good for my milk."
Expectant breastfeeders
Gwen Stefani - The mum of one is expecting her second child in the summer and has no doubt that she'll breastfeed again. She says, "I love that I'm someone special and that I feed him. I'm the milk cow! My theory is that nursing gives you superhuman powers. How else could I be doing all this when I'm usually a sleepaholic?"
Jessica Alba - The first-time pregnant actress recently admitted to being anxious about breastfeeding her baby, due in the summer. "I've been having dreams. They only have to do with breastfeeding, which is the only thing I'm paranoid about, more than giving birth!"
Nicole Kidman - After suffering the heartbreak of two miscarriages during her marriage to Tom Cruise, the Australian actress is delighted to be expecting her first child, due this summer. Although she hasn't confirmed whether or not she plans to breastfeed, the 41 year old is excited about the advantages of gaining baby weight. "I'm so happy. I can't ask for anything more except big boobs. I've wanted Marilyn Monroe curves all my life."
Past breastfeeders
Penny Lancaster - The model and wife of Rod Stewart breastfed her son for nearly a year. "For the first nine months with breastfeeding, I kept up my calorie intake and my exercise routine consisted of pushing Alistair in his pram. It's only now that I feel I have got my figure back.
